The Alert Communications International Long Distance program offers exceptional value on each
individual service, including significant savings over similar products
designed for the consumer and small business market. As a starting point, before “Dial-Free”™
referral credits are applied to your bill each month,
you may choose which Interstate (State to State) rate best suits
your your calling habits, monthly volume and preferred referral
percentage.

Intrastate Rates
Intrastate rates vary from state to state and are
regulated by each state's Public Service Commission or Department of

International Rates
We offer competitive international calling to more than 220 countries.
International calls are billed in six-second increments with a
30-second per-call minimum. We offer flat, country-specific international
rates and flat rates to all eight Mexico bands.

Toll-Free Feature Descriptions
Alert Communications International NO FEE toll-free services provide
toll-free call origination from the United States, Puerto Rico and the
U.S. Virgin Islands with termination to a single location. Enhanced
toll-free services are offered at an additional charge; and provide
additional routing and/or blocking functionality such as origination from
Canada and termination to multiple customer locations in order to meet
your specific business requirements.

Charges and Federal Subsidies
Presubscribed Interexchange Carrier Charge (PICC) is a fee assessed by
local phone companies to long distance carriers. It is applied to each
switched long distance line. In turn, long distance carriers collect a PICC from end-users.

- PICC Business = $4.12 per line
beginning with the 2nd business line
All telecommunications carriers are required to contribute to the
Federal Universal Service Fund which provides communications services to
schools, rural health care facilities, and certain other entities. FUSF
applies to interstate and international billing and monthly recurring and
non-recurring charges. The actual amount charged will vary based on the
customer's unique mix of interstate, international and intrastate traffic
each month.
